Born and raised in Mexico and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, she adopted a vegan (plant-based) diet to take control of her health. Dora is passionate about sharing her knowledge and teaching the Hispanic community all about being vegan. In 2016 she published her first book: Vegan Tamales Unwrapped.
